Today Brian Fanale spoke about the necessity to have a DMO. Many of you are probably wondering what is a DMO and why should you have one. DMO stands for Daily Method of Operation and is a critical part of a business especially for those individuals who own their own business.

What if you walked into a store or any other business where there was no boss to give the employees direction just how long do you think that business would remain productive? Every business must have a Daily Method Operation or it will fail. Consider walking into a business where there was no direction given to its employees do you think the employees would stock the shelves, keep the aisles clean, clean the restrooms, help the customers without clear instructions on what they should do? Even the very best workers would find themselves unproductive if they had no DMO to follow.

Tips for setting up Daily Method of Operation

1. Decide what hours you are going to work each day. When you are just starting out you must realize there you will not get paid from your business for holidays, birthdays, sick days, or any other day you are not doing something productive. Once you achieve your success then your schedule could be made a little more flexible, but even then you must stick with some form of Daily Method of Operation.
2. Decide on how often you are going to post to your blog and stick with it.
3. Decide on whether or not you are going to use videos and if so how often. I have come to believe that videos are a key part of achieving success in network marketing and if you don’t plan on doing them I think you should reconsider.
4. Set aside time each day to call the leads you generate. This should be one of your highest priorities especially if you generate your own leads really want. A Lot of network marketers start their business while still employed and call their leads as the commute to and from work, now this could be a little risky just make sure you are using some sort of ear piece to keep your hands free. No amount of money or business is worth the risk of you being crippled or losing your life so if you have difficulty communicating then don’t do it and definitely don’t try to text and drive.

Your list should include items that will help you reach your goal and you must allocate the necessary time to complete that task. When you are just starting out you may want to spend too much time checking your email, Facebook, MySpace, & Twitter this is why a DMO is so critical, decide when and how often you are going to do something and only alter your DMO to tweak it more for success.
